Waiver Request Process

Before submitting your design for fabrication on an AIM Photonics MPW run you should review the quality control recommendations and perform design rule checking. DRC checks for unintentional mistakes, structures that might not fabricate as expected, and also for designs that could damage the wafer, fab tools, or overall lines. Riders are expected to fix all errors or request waivers for each error. The waiver request template is attached below. 

Please note: questions about how to complete the waiver file can be directed to the support portal but AIM is not able to give a final accept/reject decision until the actual GDS is submitted.
